Jenny Frean

Jenny is an award winning textile designer. She loves to work as part of a team and set up First Eleven Studio in 1987, to work alongside other designers and present broad collections of designs comprising print, weave and embroidery.

Inspiration can come from everything in life, but colour and the balance of pattern is the greatest passion. She loves the simplicity and directness of designing for greetings cards and enjoys the balance between textiles and stationery.

She trained at Hornsey College of art followed by an MA at the RCA. She was made a RSA Royal Designer for Industry in 1998.
